EDF Snapshot

Looking into the future seems not easy in this rapidly changing world, that is why we are also organizing a snapshot analysis designed to capture farmers´ plans for the future and their opinions on certain issues in a structured way. On a four page questionnaire EDF members state their opinions regarding certain trends and tell us about their future plans and developments.

The questionnaire contains some questions which are the same ones every year, allowing time series analysis, and some questions regarding one special topic. We have asked about the quality of life on dairy farms in 2005 and about the development to a more business oriented farm operation in 2006. In 2007 we will have “feeding” as the main topic. Results will be shown at our congress in Nitra, 27 to 29 June 2007.
