Cost of Production Comparison

Our core project is our cost of production comparison. With our own model we are able to compare your individual farm data with farms from all over Europe. Our STAR (Scientific Team of Analysis and Research), a group of scientists and institutions works together with EDF members to compare dairy production systems and costs & returns across national borders.

Regarding the increasing internationalisation of dairy markets and dairy processors it is getting more and more important to know your own competitiveness within your individual country and within Europe. Our results show you a detailed analysis of your dairy enterprise, give you impressions on your strong and weak points and give room for discussions with your colleagues. You can use the national meetings and the annual congress to discuss your figures with other EDF-members and can take home new ideas and results.
